DIY Necklace Refashion for Spring 2013

Hey Fashionistas!

Today I would like to present my first DIY! It is very easy project, which requires 20 minutes of your day and minimal expenses. For this DIY I used a necklace with cute bee pendant. I bought it on sale in Primark for 1 euro, so it was a bargain! On the other hand, the colours of the pendant weren't very suitable for the upcoming spring season, so I decided to refashion it with nail polish. It was so much fun to do! I hope you like it as much as I do!

This is what you going to need:
  • Necklace
  • White and colourful nail polishes

Step by step instructions:

  • Use your white nail polish to cover the undesirable colours on your pendant. It will work like a base, which will hide any colour for your future tones. For this project I used two coats of white nailpolish. Let each coat dry before you paint it again.
  • Then carefully put two coats of the colourful nail polish, which you want your pendant to be, mine happened to be rose nude, cause I am crazy for this beautiful colour at the moment. Let it dry before you wear it!

  • Voila!!! It is all done and ready to wear! :)
I am very pleased with the result, and I hope you will give it a go and will try it for yourself !

Have a creatful day and don't forget to stay inspired!
