Rossmann and DM Drugstore Haul

Hey guys,
last week I went to Rossmann and DM (German drugstores) and I have bought some goodies. I got two shower-gels from special winter editions and I can't wait to use them. They both smell nice and the price was low. (79ct for dusch das and 45 ct for Isana shower gel)

In Rossmann I also found  very cool and practical toolkit, where you get two tools and a bag of 100 rivets (in 3 colours) for your creative projects. And the price...OMG 3,99€. I have seen similar single tool cost 8 € and up  already, so I am extremely excited for this awesome set!

At the DM I got Balea Hairspray (0,85€/300ml),because as in the last post mentioned I finished my Garnier Fructis hairspray and I wanted to try out Balea products for my hair. I also couldn't resist to Balea Dry Shampoo (2,25€/200ml), cause my last dry shampoo from isana I emptied a month ago (more about it check out my October empties post ). I read so many good reviews on this Balea Hair Balm (0,65€/300ml) so I just want to try it out and see how I like it. As I almost finished my nail polish remover from Isana and was already in DM, so I grabbed ebelin Nail Polish Remover (0,45€/125ml). I will most definetly write about these products and how I liked them in my future posts, so stay tuned!

Happy first week of Advent!

November Empties 2013 Product Reviews

Hey chickas,
I love how I manage still to upload min 1 post per month! Yuhoo !!! Just kidding. I know that I don't post very often, sorry for that. I am happy to be here again and write this post as a reminder to myself, what I allready used up and maybe will inspire you to use more of the products you have at home and not to buy new cosmetics. Just use it all up till the last bit. It helps me to think longer before buying the product, cause I know how hard it is to really empty and get all moneys worth of it. So let's check out my latest product reviews of the November.

GARNIER FRUCTIS STYLE Hairspray, 250 ml
Pros:
  • with bamboo extract
  • 24-hour bounce-back hold
  • Creates an instant barrier against frizz
  • Gives your hair shine and smoothness
  • Price 0,95 € (at DM)
Cons:
  • dried out my hair
It is a nice product and does all, what it should do. I did not use this hairspray very often, but every time I used it, it dried my hair and at the end of the day I felt that I need to wash out the product out of my hair. On the other hand, it is budget friendly. I will buy it again (not anytime soon) and I recommend it, if you are looking for cheap but good product.

Evaluation:6/10

 Isana Hair Shampoo, 400 ml
Pros:
  •  Price 0,65 € ( I bought on sale 0,45€)
  • Amount
Cons:
  • Terrible for your hair
  • Doesn't do anything good for your hair
I bought this shampoo, cause I thought that it will be moisturising for my hair ( it seems from the packaging, that it is made for blond hair that needs special care), but after the first use I was more than dissapointed. It was just terrible for my hair and eventhought I used good moisturising masks after the washing, I barely could comb my hair through. I will never buy this product again and I don't recommend it.

Evaluation:1/10

essence multi colour blush (20 fashionista), 5 g
Pros:
  • Adorable blush
  • nice colour
  • good pigmentation
  • price 0,95 € sale
  • 5 stripes of matching pink tones (from highlighter to dark bronzer)
Cons:
  • not in the sortiment anymore
I really enjoyed this blush. This colour matched my skintone perfectly and I used it also as an eyeshadow. I am sad that I emptied this product, but now  I can open the similar blush I got on the same sale just a little bit peachier. I recomment essence blushes, cause they are affordable and pigmented. This blush is not available anymore. The last bits of the blush I'm going to use as an eyeshadow.

Evaluation:8/10

ISANA creme dusche (shower gel) coconut, 300 ml
Pros:
  • pleasing summery coconut scent
  • creamy consistency
  • price 0,65€ ( I got it on 0,45 € sale)
Cons:
  • none
I  liked this product, and I enjoyed it. I recommend it

Evaluation:8/10
essence multi action mascara, 9 ml
Pros:
  • lengthens, curls, separates your lashes
  • price 2,45 €
  • best product of the year reward
Cons:
  •  none
I enjoyed the product and I recommend it. The maximal quality mascara for a minimal price.

Evaluation:/10

essence eye pencil from LE „50’s girls reloaded” (02 I’m a marine girl), 1,4 g
Pros:
  • soft, but not too soft
  • nice dark blue colour
  • awesome pigmentation
  • also was a nice eyeshadow base
  • price 0, 99€
Cons:
  • not available anymore
It was one awesome kajal pencil, sadly it was in limited collection and not available anymore.  Evaluation:9/10

Stuff, I (didn't enjoyed/was old) threw out:

essence lipgloss from xxl nudes, (02 light candy), 5 ml
I didnt liked this product-it was smelling funny and the colour and the shine of it looked on me just terrible. It was also sticky and I got it for cheap so I decided to say bye-bye to this product. I have other lip products that I enjoy using, so it's no biggie.

essence clear & matt make up (01 porcelain), 30 ml
I don't use cream powder very often, I prefer BB Cream over this  product, so thats why it was just taking space in my bathroom cabinet. I got it in 0,95 ct sale ,just in case I needed a cream powder. Eventhough it is the lightest shade, it still looked unnatural and somehow couple shades darker on my skin.  It is not available in stores anymore.

Maybelline MNY Eyeshadows in Black and White
Frosty white and black eyeshadows that are nothing special and hard to work with. I decided to throw those away, cause I bought them yeaaaaars ago and never really used, nor enjoyed them. Price each around 1 €.
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on September Empties!

Take care

NOTD - Nail Polish Review - essence 49 THE ONLY CHANCE!

     HEY FASHIONISTAS!

Today I have a nail polish review for you! I have bought this nice chocolate colour nail polish from essence two years ago, and have worn it several times since. I hope that it will make to my autumn favorites and I will use it more often. I do have pale skin and I don't think that it perfectly matches my colder skin tone. It is definitely an autumn tone, and would compliment red hair-green eyes type person better than me. Obviously I wasnt't very experienced in colour theory when I bought it.

Change In My Spending Habits And September Empties

    Hello, my Dears!
I really enjoy reading in other make-up blogs about using your stuff that you already got, instead of buying the new products.
I do have many makeup and beauty products already, and I don't want to be an emotional shopper anymore!!! I bought so much make up just because it was cheap! I decided to change my shopping habits and made up some rules for make - up buying:
    1. Buy the stuff on SALE just when you use it and buy it regularly!
    2. Take into consideration how many times you going to use the product (if it is a good quality product that suits your needs, it is more valuable for you and you will use it more often, in comparison to annoying bad quality products)
    3. Buy makeup just in tones that suit your colour type!
    4. Read reviews online about makeup products other consumers buy and how they like it
    5. If you don't know the product yet and you want to buy it, buy it in the smallest size you can find or ask for a sample - don't buy a full size product yet!
Do you have some rules that I could add to this list? Please share with me in the comments bellow!

So now let's get into my September Empties!

(FYI: I live in Germany, so your local drugstores may not have the same products.)

Rival de Loop Clean & Care Milde Reinigungsmilch Ginkgo & Gurkenextrakt 200 ml :
    Pros:
    • My favorite make - up remover.
    • It has creamy consistence and doesn't dry my skin out.
    • I love this product and I will buy it again.
    • Moisturizing
    • Good size
    • Price 0,79 €
    Cons:
    None

    I recommend it. Evaluation 9/10

Update and My Fall Nail Polish Picks

    Hello fashionistas!

Soooo much happened since I've written my last blog post! I found a new job, came up with new, more awesome blog name, and and... and next week my studies start again..plus work and I really want to increase my German language knowledge, so I'm going to visit a course one time a week. I really need to post my blogposts more often, too. At this moment I just feel that I have so much on my plate, but I know that all this is possible and I can do it! So let's see how it goes. One thing what really helps to relax my mind and take the stress away is polishing my nails.

I love nail polish! I always wear it and  paint my nails every 3-4 days. I know it's crazy and maybe not healthy for my nails, but I just hate how they look without it. During the last three years I accumulated 60 nail polishes. I know it's a big number, but I just coudn't resist the sales and nice colours!

For today's post I picked out my autumn pieces. I chose the darkest and muddy colours, reds and blues. It's time to hide the pastels, mints and summery brights (well I still left some) and go ahead to the darker side. Brown, Black, oxblood, maroon, moss green are the colours to go!

Although I love all of the colours I own, at the end of the Fall I wish to have 5 or more nail polishes used up. Well, we will see if it's possible. So let's get into it!

MY BLACKS (from left to right):

    •  01 BERLIN STORY - matt black tip painter
    •  20 FATAL - glossy black
    •  002 stamp me! black - special matt black nail polish used with stamping kit
    •  05 HUNT ME IF YOU CAN - black nail polish with silver glitter
    •  06 TICKET TO THE SHOW (front row or backstage?) -one side has colourful glitter particles, other- silver glitter, I do sell new product on KLEIDERKREISEL
    •  01 UNDEAD - one of my favorites for fall, black nail polish with magenta glitter particles
    •  04 mystic wish! - gorgeous gunmetal colour, perfect for fall, I love it
    •  03 crack me! blue - lovely colour, but hard to combine with other colours to look nice

    Hi Fashionistas!

One thing you don't know about me, that I love love love make-up and nail polishes :) In the last post (Read here) I 've showed you the stuff I bought and I thought you would be curious to see the products closely and see swatches of the make up I've got.

Nail art special effect topper in 12 holo topping please:
Pretty glittery blush colour, dries well and looks good on nails.

Nail art special effect topper in 13 mrs and mr glitter:
Chunky glitter, if you want more glitters on your nails, you have to apply more coats. I think it will look very nice on the black nail polish as a topcoat.

Gel Eyeliner in 01 Midnight in Paris and Eyeliner Brush:
I stained my contacts with the gel eyeliner, so be carefull and put your contacts after you are done with the eyeliner. Brush is  soft and nice, although is's hart to get the precise line.

    Some New Stuff I Bought

    Hello Fashionistas!

The summer is almost over and I am so glad that Autumn is coming! I love Spring and Autumn, and 70 % of my wardrobe consists of demi seasonal clothing. In two months I will start my second semester in college and I felt that my closet needs some new clothes and accessories.

Most of the pieces I bought are available (although I live in Germany). And jewellery and makeup are bought on sale, so I am not really sure if you can get the same deals, like I did.

     Stuff I bought:

    Navy Outfit Of The Day

    I'm Back!!!!

Hi fashionistas! I am back, and more motivated than ever to start writing my blogposts again :)

I've been so busy with my exams and now when everything is over I finally can concentrate on my blog.

I want to present you classic but yet a modern style, which repeats itself every year. Yeah, I am talking about the marine style! Marine theme is very wide but mainly consists of navy, red, grey or white colours and patterns or motives like anchors, stripes, knots, ropes.... It is always actual style in the summer and this is how you can buy some marine themed pieces, that you will wear again and again year after year. Ofcourse, try to invest in quality pieces that suits your figure and lifestyle.

For my outfit I chose grey T-shirt with anchors pattern, navy blue skirt that I made myself and bright red belt to accentuate the waist. I finished off the look with grey pumps, which I bought in TK Maxx.
I think this outfit is suitable for many occasions and is fun and comfortable to wear.

    FLOWY SUMMER BLOUSE DIY

    Hey Fashionistas!

I realy like boxy blouses for this summer season. Its nice, flowy addition to any closet, and will be super choice for summer parties with friends or family. Paired with colourful fabric it will give you plenty of outfit possibilities for the day-time or night-time, depending on the accessories you choose.

For this DIY project I decided to use white Tee and scarf (just enough for the back of the blouse). And this is how I made it!

Creating in process... Notice - Picture heavy! :)

    And all done!!!

P.S. For this blouse I used zigzag stitch.

I hope you liked the results, cause I enjoyed the process and I love the final product :)

See you in the next blog post and stay inspired !!!

    xoxo
